Deep Purple Amethyst, my favorite semi-precious stone (and my birthstone), is hand-knotted. The hand knotting gives these beads a sensuous, luxurious feel. The Amethyst beads are a gorgeous shade slightly translucent held to the light, but with a deep rich coloring that rivals the most expensive of these stones. I've added very interesting carved Sterling Silver open work beads with Sterling lattice caps cupping the Amethyst on either side. The finishing touch echoes the caps but adds carved tubes concluding with the ultimate oval textured Sterling toggle clasp. This necklace is to love!
